I’m with Ann. I’m sick and tired of hearing people comment on her weight instead of her talent. I’ve always stuck up for her that way. I think she’s one of the hottest women ever. Certainly one of the hottest rockers. I’ve always idolized her. Beautiful I say. Wish I looked like her!!

In reference to the previous poster, I too have always loved dark haired women with curves and I didn’t think Ann was “heavy” or “fat” during the ‘video years’, as she calls them – she was a damn fox! I even saw Heart live in ’88 and I was right in the front row, she was STUNNING! But that’s the music industry for ya – to quote Peter Griffin, “fat men aren’t fat, only fat women are fat”. So Meatloaf can get away with being a lard arse, Ann can’t get away with being voluptuous. It’s all wrong.

I completely agree, she’s such an outstanding singer and performer and I’ve NEVER cared how heavy she is and have always thought she’s beautiful. I hope she’s healthy so as many people as possible can hear her and she can share that gift for as long as possible! Love love LOVE me some Ann Wilson!

Ann will always be beautiful in my eyes – no matter what size she is. She is just stunning. However, I’m glad she is making the effort to get healthy so she can focus on performing and singing. Those negative reviews must have been so hurtful! Nobody wants to hear that – especially after putting on such awesome performances where she poured her heart and soul into. She’s amazing if you ask me.

Who cares what she looks like, she’s a fabulous singer. If it’s effecting your health adversely then by all means. I just hope it doesn’t effect her wonderful voice.

She wasn’t heavy in the 70′s and even in 1985 imo. 1990 she kind of blew up but that doesn’t matter. Great singer and a pretty girl.

I really needed what Ann and Nancy gave me. It was really good. I hope she hasn’t stopped trying to give me another bad ass song, because it would still be bad ass. It just shows that what we say to, and about each other can devastate a persons sense of worth. Names do hurt, think before you speak, yours words can cause deep wounds in others.
What the people who criticize Ann’s weight fail to see is their own attitude, which is, by far, an uglier thing than fat and a bigger weight to carry around than extra pounds.
The Lord looks on the HEART, and Ann and Nancy have plenty of that. I hope someday to meet them both Rock on Ladies.

Oh bollocks. No one is just fat or skinny. What is that nonsense? She obviously has nutritional deficiencies from eating improper and or weaponized foods. And I bet she didn’t get much in the way of physical excercise.

well she didn’t eat a lot. Its just how she was…some people are skinny and some people are fat. She would actually starve herself in the ’70s so she could keep her figure.
